🍂 The Real-Life Homeschool Fall Farm Series

What if your child could spend the fall learning how food is grown, animals are cared for, and real work gets done?

This fall, we're taking our elementary farm days through three hands-on experiences:

🌱 Fall Gardening — September 19
Get your hands in the soil and discover what it takes to grow food.

🐐 Dairy Goats — October 24
Explore animal care, dairy production, and the responsibilities that come with caring for livestock.

🐔 Poultry — November 14
Learn about chickens, eggs, animal care, and what happens behind the food we bring home.

Together, these three classes create a little fall journey through growing, raising, and producing food.

And that's exactly what I love about hands-on learning.

Children aren't simply learning about science, agriculture, and responsibility from a book. They're experiencing it.

They're asking questions.
They're getting dirty.
They're learning to care for living things.
They're figuring things out.
And they're discovering that the things we study actually matter in everyday life.

We ran up to Alamogordo on Friday and visited the Tularosa Basin Museum for their annual Night at the Museum event. Despite having to drive through 2 storms, it was a fun evening. As my children get older, it gets harder to get everyone together. I'm going to soak up every moment I can!
