Wow! What a wonderful Reunion Weekend! The plans came together, the weather was great and reconnecting with "old" friends -- priceless. We have over 90 photos uploaded to the PictureQR link so far. If you took photos and haven't uploaded them yet, please do so in the next few days (before you forget). We will be sharing them on each of the class pages soon, so set a reminder to check back for updates. We want to recognize the people and vendors that helped make this weekend special.
Thank you Judy Cunningham (and team) with the Vinton History Museum for opening after hours, answering questions and insuring information specific to our three classes was available and on display.
Hats off to Cindy Dickerson and Ashley Stultz for wrangling our classmates and guiding them on a tour through the school. We heard many comments about how amazing (and totally different) it looked from when we were students.
Al and Nancy Hammond, with Boxtree Lodge on Glenburn Farms. You were so helpful and accommodating. It was the perfect place to hold our event.
Tracy Hamilton Catering - Everyone agreed, the food was wonderful.
Cindy Gardner - as usual, your cakes are THE BEST!
Twisted Track Brewpub - Thanks for the special "brew". It was enjoyed by many.
Thanks also to Patrick Musselwhite, our D.J., for sharing those wonderful 70's tunes that brought back so many special memories.
Also, a shoutout to Kennedy McGee for the balloon towers and Amy Frye for stepping in and taking the group pictures.
We want to thank our teachers, Gerald Carter, Rick and Shirley Calhoun, Linda Catron, Deanna Gordon and Betty Hall for coming out to spend time with us and share a memory or two.
Finally, we want to thank the Classmates from '75, '76, and '77 (and guests) that came out and supported this milestone event and helped make this a celebration to remember.
