Attention ALL TERRIER ATHLETES:
THERE IS A NEW PROCESS FOR ENTERING VHSL PHYSICALS, WHICH ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY HIGH SCHOOL SPORT. THIS INCLUDES OPEN GYMS/OPEN COURTS/ OPEN FIELDS/OPEN MATS, ETC. SEE BELOW.
All student-athletes must create their own account in Arbiter. The instructions are listed below. The school cannot create this account for you, so please do this as soon as possible if your child is playing a fall sport or is participating in conditioning or workouts for another out-of-season sport. Physicals are good for 14 months from the date the physician has on the physical. If you have an up-to-date physical on file at the school, Mrs. Carrell will be glad to give you the original so you can scan it into your account. This is an original, and she will only hand them directly to the parent or athlete; no emails or faxes. Please note that the office is closed on Fridays during July. Once you have completed opening your account and the physical has been scanned into the document, it is forwarded to the Athletic Director for approval. Please be sure that both the Student and the Parent have signed the form, the doctor's name along with their signature and date are provided, and the insurance information is correct and includes the policy number. Failure to have these things on the form will make it be marked "not accepted" and returned for you to complete to make it official.
Remember, without an up-to-date physical on file in ARBITER, your child will not be allowed to participate in any athletic event, practice, or conditioning.
