Band instrument fitting/tryouts will take place during drive thru orientation.

Vinton Middle School will host a drive-through orientation for our face-to-face students on Wednesday, August 19th. There will be two times available. 9AM - 12PM and 4PM - 6PM Students may choose to drive through during either time. Schedules will be available for pickup. You may also pick up 19-20 yearbooks and any t-shirts you have purchased for this year. We will also answer any questions that you have about the start of school. Hope to see you soon. We have missed our Cub family.

PARENTS. Why should your child be part of the BAND.

BEGINNING BAND STUDENTS! Every wind or percussion instrument is possible for you to play. However, when starting band we limit the number of instruments to start on. For example, you will either play the flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone/euphonium, and percussion. After Thanksgiving, a select few students will move from clarinet-saxophone, trumpet-baritone, trumpet-french horn, and even euphonium-tuba. Feel free to watch the video and think about what you WANT TO PLAY.
