Why Christian schools? Heres the facts. ⬇️
Higher Academic Achievement- The Cardus Education Survey found that graduates from Protestant Christian schools have higher standardized test scores in areas such as math and reading.
College Readiness- According to the National Center for Education Statistics, private school students, including those from Christian schools, have a higher percentage of college enrollment (68%) compared to public school students (59%).
Mental Health- A study published in the Journal of Religion and Health found that students in faith-based schools reported lower levels of anxiety and depression compared to those in secular schools.
Behavior and Discipline- A study published in the Journal of School Choice found that private Christian school students reported lower instances of disruptive behavior and higher levels of respect for teachers and peers, and better overall student behavior with less tolerance for bullying.
Smaller Class Sizes- Many Christian schools have smaller class sizes, which can lead to more individualized attention and stronger relationships between students and teachers. This can help teachers more effectively monitor student interactions and give a 1:1 learning approach to meet the needs of each individual.
Life Satisfaction and Success- The Cardus Education Survey found that Christian school alumni are more likely to have stable marriages, be active in their communities, and report a sense of purpose in life.
