Shenandoah Dockside in Mystic, CT | Open to Public
After six seasons and 74 overnight voyages with MV Ocean Academy, Shenandoah arrived in Mystic, CT, Sunday afternoon, where she’ll spend the winter dockside at Schooner Wharf, hosted by the Mystic Nautical Heritage Society and open to the public.
Since 2020, 1,636 young people have sailed aboard Shenandoah. That amounts to 10,279 individual days at sea.
10,279 days away from screens.
10,279 days living in community.
10,279 days learning to navigate challenges, take healthy risks, and discover what you’re capable of.
This ship means so much to many people across generations. And her story continues.
