A huge thank you to the Vineland Police Department K-9 Unit for providing an outstanding and educational demonstration for our students and staff!

We are especially grateful to Sgt. Magee and Officer Magee for taking the time to share their knowledge, showcase the incredible skills of their K-9 partners, and give our students a firsthand look at the important work they do to keep our community safe.

Your dedication, professionalism, and commitment to community engagement made this a memorable experience for everyone involved. Thank you for inspiring our students and strengthening the connection between our school and the Vineland community.

We are proud to recognize and congratulate an amazing group of 5th-grade leaders. Petway's Safety Patrol has been named Safety Patrol of the Year, an honor that reflects the outstanding leadership, kindness, empathy, and service demonstrated by our students throughout the year.

Our Safety Patrol members not only helped keep our school community safe, organized, and welcoming each day, but they also made a significant impact beyond our school walls. They partnered with the People Not Profit Organization to collect toys for local families during the holiday season. Patrol members attended the organization's family event, served food, assisted with cleanup, and provided families with friendly smiles and meaningful conversations.

In addition, they joined forces with Dominic's Pasta Party to collect food for the Vineland Soup Kitchen, volunteered their time with the Vineland Challenger Baseball League, demonstrating a true commitment to serving others, and they visited the Vineland Soup Kitchen to prepare and pack bagged lunches.

We are especially proud to recognize Joseph Uebelacker, who was selected as this year's Giulianni Award Winner for his exceptional service and dedication to the community. We also congratulate Malillany Hernandez, who was chosen as this year's Gold Badge Winner. Her bright smile, positive attitude, and cheerful good mornings helped students and staff start each day on a positive note.

The success of our Safety Patrol program would not be possible without the dedication and leadership of Shannon Beltran, our Safety Patrol Advisor, who was also recognized as Safety Patrol Advisor of the Year. Her commitment to developing student leaders and fostering a culture of service has made a lasting impact on our school community.

We are incredibly proud of our Safety Patrol members and their advisor. Their actions exemplify the values of leadership, service, citizenship, and compassion that make our school community so special.
