Dear Kindergarten Families,

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Kindergarten Orientation! It was wonderful welcoming our incoming Kinder Whales to Winslow, meeting our families, visiting classrooms, and beginning what we know will be an exciting school year.

If you were unable to attend, we are sorry we missed you! We know that schedules, work commitments, transportation, childcare, and other circumstances can sometimes make it difficult to attend school events.

Whether you attended orientation or were unable to join us, we invite you to complete our brief Kindergarten Orientation Survey. Your feedback is important to us. We especially want to understand any barriers that may make it difficult for families to participate in school events so that we can continue finding ways to make our programs and activities as accessible and welcoming as possible.

This morning, our hearts were full as we welcomed our newest Kinder Whales to Winslow Elementary! 🐳💙

Our future Whales had the opportunity to meet their teachers and Winslow staff, explore their new classrooms, receive their very first Winslow spirit shirt, choose a special book for their at-home library, and enjoy a sweet treat!

While our little Whales were busy getting aclimated, parents and guardians had the opportunity to learn more about our school, important procedures, and the many ways we work together to support our students.

Today was just the beginning of their Winslow journey, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch them learn, grow, and make waves with us. 🌊

Our teachers are getting ready to welcome back students very soon. Today they are immersed in professional development at Winslow with a pick me up thanks to 7 Brew!

Great news! Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, breakfast and lunch will be free for all Vineland Public Schools students.

No application is required for students to receive free school meals. Families are still encouraged to complete the annual meal application because the information is used to determine eligibility for Summer EBT benefits.
