Cunningham Academy extends its deepest sympathies on the passing of Mr. Jerrell Lathan Jr. Mr. Lathan served as a valued member of the Cunningham Academy community during the 2017–2018 school year. He is remembered for his strong presence, engaging personality, and the positive spirit he brought to those around him. His impact will not be forgotten, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jerrell Lathan Jr.

It's with a heavy heart that we share the news that after a decade, Cunningham Academy has come to an end. We want to let you know that Cunningham Alternative School will now be operated by Positive Change Academy. Over these past 10 years, it has been our true privilege to serve the Vineland community, and we believe we made a positive impact during our time here. To all the students we've had the honor of teaching, please know that you are loved and valued. As you continue on your journeys, remember to support your peers, work together to succeed, and always act with integrity. Wishing you all peace and success in the future.
