Look who has their forever home! 🏡 Mr Witham went first thing this morning and adopted our sweet puppy that visited the school this week for teacher appreciation! Congratulations 🎉

Last Day for Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week!!!! Today we got to share sweet treats with our sweet staff! It was a donut 🍩 and adult snack cart day! We enjoyed letting the teachers come picks snacks just like their students do.

Thank you to Simply Fresh Donutz for donating your amazingly yummy 😋 donuts 🍩 for our JTA Family.

Huge Shout out to Buff City Soap 🧼 for not only donating a bar of soap and laundry soap to every single staff member but for making them feel extra special by creating a scent just for them! Then they names it Trojans and designed it in our school colors! They loved the scent!

Let’s not forget our last bunch of donors for our giveaway. We live in the best community with some amazing businesses that showed support to our PTSA and JTA Family. Thank you to Staples, Axe Play, Krazy Flavaz, Papa John’s, Bob Evan’s, Red Lobster, Rafferty’s, Longhorn, Jersey Mikes and Mulberry Florist.

Day 4 of Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week. Thanks to our amazing Vine Grove Fire 🔥 Department for feeding our staff today! The teachers appreciated the food that was provided.

We also want to recognize more donors for our giveaways. Thank you to Sonic for giving every staff member a free drink coupon. Thank you to realtors Ella Clark & Mia Paulk for the 🧁 cupcakes. Some of our other amazing donors include The Blue Rose, Crowne Point Theater, JR Neighbors, Baptist Health Hospital 🏥 Gift Shop, Papa Murphy, McAllister and Cheddars. Please support these business and while there thank them for supporting our PTSA and JTA Staff!

Day 3 of Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week! Who doesn’t love Arby’s & Pie 🥧? We are beyond grateful to Arby’s today for donating and feeding all our JTA family with sandwiches! You guys rock! We also want to thank the Pie Kitchen and Shoney’s for donating all the pies 🥧 for today’s lunch! Definitely check them out and thank these business while visiting for showing our JTA Family some love!

We can’t forget about our shout out to our giveaway donors and winners. Thank you so much to Barnes & Noble, Xtreme Arcade, Sam’s Club and Buffalo 🦬 Wild Wings for their donations for our giveaway. As you can see on our staff members faces they are super happy and loving all the gifts thanks to you.

This girl is so cute she needs her own post! Thank you to the Hardin County Animal Care and Control. They provided a puppy 🐶 for our teachers to love ❤️ on today for teacher appreciation week. This gal was so sweet and not only did the teachers love her but the students enjoyed the visits with her today while in class. We have several teachers ready to adopt her and make her apart of the JTA Family!

Day 2 of teacher appreciation week is in the books! The staff loved their bagels 🥯 and iced coffee ☕️ this morning!

We had some happy giveaways winners today as well!

We want to send a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Heartland Mini Golf ⛳️, Mark’s Feed Store, Mr Gatti’s Pizza 🍕, Sky’s the Limit and Panama 🥖 for their amazing donations to our giveaway! Our staff is loving 🥰 all the prizes! Please help support these businesses as they love to support our community and the JTA Family! While there don’t forget to thank them 😉

It is Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week in the JTA Halls! This means a week of showing our JTA Leaders some LOVE ❤️!

We want to shout out Starbucks for donating Coffee ☕️ to our teachers this week. Texas Roadhouse for the deal on the 🥔 potato bar that we fed them today and the free appetizer cards for everyone . Sandy’s Nursery in Vine Grove for donating plants 🪴 for our giveaway. B B Lanes 🎳 in Etown for the gift certificates they donated for our giveaway and Chick-fil-A for making one of our office staff member the coolest person in the school with your basket 🧺 donation!

Please show your support for these business and while visiting thank them for giving back to our JTA staff. Stay tuned for more fun this week as we celebrate our JTA Family!

We couldn't do it without her! Thank you Principal Cassady for all you do for our students and staff! She is often first to arrive and last to leave, and is a true servant leader, always working to better the school and help our students succeed! We are so lucky to have you at JTA!

On National School Principal Day, we want to give a big Trojan shout out to our fearless leader, Mrs. Danielle Cassady! She has high expectations and pushes our students to give their best. She is one of the first to roll up her sleeves and jump in when there's a job to be done. She works hard for our building, and we want to let her know today, especially, that she's appreciated. Onward, Mrs. Cassady! To you we will be true!

Trojan family, JTA needs you! The PTSA will have open positions for the 2024-25 School Year. We must fill these positions to continue having a PTSA at Alton!

This school year the PTSA has supported the school and students by providing trimester rewards, teacher appreciation week meals and prizes, donated supplies to classrooms, provided mentoring for students, provided support, resources, and advocacy for policy benefitting teachers and students, and partially funded the Trojan Store.

It's time for Snack Cart, again! Tomorrow, Friday April 26, the PTSA will be manning the Snack Shack. If your student would like to purchase a snack, please send a few dollars with them. Everything is priced $2 or less! Proceeds support students and activities for JTA!
