This is what I am hearing in my spirit among a certain under current within the American Church as a whole: there will be a renewed focus on Jesus in the preaching and teaching of His church.

To be sure, the entertainment church will continue to peddle its water down service, but there is a rising hunger for the pure Word of God. Believers are coming home to Jesus! Catchy and click bate sermonettes will more and more give way to Bible Centered preaching. These preachers will recognize the power of their preaching is not in the wisdom of their words or their colorful phrasings but in allowing the Written Word to do what God intended when He gave it to us: reveal the Living Word of God in all His glory, goodness, and grace!

Our greatest need in worship is to know God.

Worship is not a secondary subject. It is not something that is casual or optional or an add-on. It's comprehensive. It's at the core of who we are as Christians. It describes our connection and interaction with God.

*We worship God in all of life as we present our bodies a living sacrifice (Romans 1:1–2).
*We worship God in times of private devotion as we pray and read His Word and meditate.
*We worship God in times of family worship as we read the Bible and pray with our families.
*We worship God in times of corporate worship when we come together with God's people to glorify Him and honor Him.

Worship is all about knowing and serving and communing with the one true God by faith alone in the provision He has made for us to draw near to Him by the Person and work of Jesus Christ. It is acknowledging God's presence, expressing our love and devotion to Him and submitting our lives to His Word.

Let's gather together and Worship the God we know at 5pm-- All are invited!

Tonight-- I am praying for spiritual renewal in myself, the church, and our nation. I am bursting in my spirit to see a renewal of souls being added to the church! Mission/Vision drift is a silent killer. Long before churches close their doors, there would have been a subtly and slow drifting away from their purpose. A key task for church renewal is stopping this drift and re-centering the church around its reason for existing.

Renewal, as a biblical discipline, is a transformative process that Christians embark upon to rejuvenate their spiritual lives. It involves the deliberate effort to draw closer to God, shedding old ways and adopting a renewed mindset in alignment with His will.

Spiritual renewal is not a one-time event but an ongoing journey of transformation and growth in the Christian faith.
