Fumonisin, is a mycotoxin that can be toxic to horses, pigs, and can cause health issues in humans and has a history in Knox County. Purdue Extension is proud to announce upcoming Pesticide Applicator Continuing Education programs for fall 2026, offering vital continuing education opportunities for commercial pesticide applicators across Indiana.
The workshops will be held at three locations throughout the state; Fort Wayne (Nov. 17), Alexandria (Nov. 18), and Chrisney (Dec. 9). Each session runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time.
Participants will earn up to five continuing education credits in multiple categories, including: 1, 2, 3A, 3B, 4, 5, 6, 7A, 7B, 7D, 8, 11, and RT.

The last few days have been busy teaching 1st graders from four counties about pumpkins. A big thank you goes out to the Southwest Purdue Ag Center, educators, and speacialist that helped teach!
