Picture Day is coming up at Lincoln High School!

School pictures will be taken Wednesday, September 2. Students will have their photos taken during their English classes.

Seniors: If you missed senior pictures before school started, you’ll also have your photo taken on Picture Day. Seniors do not need to preorder photos.

Preorder information has been provided to all underclassmen.

This year, we launched a brand-new class called Alice Announcements, giving students hands-on experience in broadcasting and digital media.

Each day, students write announcements, conduct interviews, shoot and edit video, design graphics and put it all together to create LHS Midday — a daily student-produced show that keeps LHS students informed about what’s happening around their school.

And today, LHS Midday officially makes its debut!

We’re excited to see where our students take it throughout the year.

Every VCSC school will soon have a new tool to help keep students and staff safe during severe weather.

Thanks to a generous donation from Lauren and Andrew Hinz, emergency weather radios are being distributed to every school across the Vincennes Community School Corporation.

The VCSC Board of School Trustees recently approved changes to the calendar, including the removal of several previously scheduled early release days.
