Today, the Shasta Section Agriculture Teachers toured New Clairvaux Winery in Vina, CA. Here, they were educated on the history of the property. Located on the site of a former 19th century winery that later became the largest winery in the world in the 1880s, New Clairvaux is now operated by Trappist-Cistercian monks who resumed winemaking on the grounds in the late 1990s.

The tour was preceded by a meeting at Los Molinos High School.

Fall Sectional Inservice included an awesome boat ride on Lake Shasta and a hike through the Bully Hill Mine! Thank you to everyone who atteneded and helped organize a great day for our teachers!

We had an awesome Fall Sectional Inservice today! Industry tour at Anselmo Vineyards followed by lunch and business meeting at Foothill’s new Agriculture pavilion! Thank you to Foothill Advisors for hosting & organzing today’s meeting and thank you Jake for leading it! Looking forward to the rest of the school year and FFA events, whatever is thrown at us! 💙💛
