Earlier today, Father Zaunbrecher called upon our 5th - 8th grade elementary football players for a special “Blessing of the Helmets”! He prayed for a safe and victorious season, and that our athletes grow into kind teammates and strong, godly leaders both on and off the field.

Our Trojan buses were also blessed to ensure safe travels for all of our students, coaches and staff throughout the 2026-2027 school year.

Our Kindergarteners spent their 1st Friday Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus learning how to bring the Image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to life through the use of combining shapes, lines, and letters. Together with Mrs. Bec, they learned that the letters J and X, line squiggles and drop shapes can be put together to make Our Lord's Merciful Sacred Heart.

A Sacred Tradition: Blessing of the Team, Facility and Armor

Ahead of our Trojan football season, Father Zaunbrecher bestowed a special blessing upon our football program by seeking divine protection, guidance and fellowship. Father blessed our weight room, locker room and our players' helmets in dedication to God for the upcoming season.

In addition to blessing the athletic facilities and helmets, Father Zaunbrecher also blessed scapulars that will be sewn into the team’s football uniforms. Rooted in faith and tradition, these scapulars serve as a tangible symbol of Mary’s maternal protection and a constant reminder for our student-athletes to walk with humility, strength and integrity both on and off the football field.

With minds focused, spirits renewed and God's grace surrounding our facilities and equipment, our team enters the season united in purpose and prepared for the journey ahead.

Sacred Heart Elementary honored our local Law Enforcement Officers, Fire Department, Military and First Responders, with a Mass of Thanksgiving known as the "Blue Mass".

We would like to thank all who joined us and thank you for answering the call to serve and keep our community safe. May God bless you and keep you protected always!

Learning Comes Alive in Our Library!

Our students had a wonderful time enjoying our school library! From checking out new books and silent reading to partner reading and flashlight reading, there was something for every young reader.

We love seeing our students get excited about books, discover new stories and make reading a part of their day!

Wishing the best of luck to our Trojan football team and coaching staff this season!

We officially started the football season with our Annual "Meet the Trojans" celebrating our Senior players, trainers, drumline and spirit squad members.

Our football players started a new tradition this year honoring their favorite teacher/faculty member by letting them wear their jersey on game days.

In Mrs. Debby’s 7th grade class, students explored symbolism in the novel Hatchet connecting Brian’s experiences to the Catholic sacraments of baptism, communion, and confirmation.
