🦁 Year 2 Game Design students at ERA are putting their engineering skills to work!

Students were challenged to design and build the most effective catapult they could create. Before building, they had to develop rough drafts, research different catapult designs, and think through how their design would actually function.

From there, they moved into construction by measuring, building, testing, identifying problems, and making improvements along the way. The goal isn’t just to make something that works; it’s to use the engineering design process to make it work better.

This is what Game Design looks like beyond the computer screen: research, planning, engineering, problem-solving, building, testing, and improving.

Way to go Lions! 🦁

🏈🦁 A big thank you to MJHS for hosting last night’s Parish Jamboree.
The Mighty Lions defeated the BCES Demons and tied up with the Trojans.
