Pamela D. DeCampli ’88 MSN and her husband, David, are deepening their longstanding commitment to Villanova University’s M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing (FCN) with an additional $2 million estate gift, building upon their previous $4 million commitment made in 2019. Their latest investment in the College will create the Pamela D. DeCampli ’88 MSN Endowed Chair in Nursing.
The DeCampli Endowed Chair in Nursing will advance research to improve healthcare, using their specialized expertise to drive innovation in patient care and evidence-based practices and foster critical community, industry and other partnerships for the College.

Professor Monika Pogorzelska-Maziarz, PhD, CIC, FAPIC, FSHEA, FACE, welcomed Sally Havers, PhD, FACIPC, CIPC-E, president of the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control, to Driscoll Hall to lead a research seminar this week.
Drawing on more than 15 years of experience in infection prevention and control, Dr. Havers discussed "Consensus, Complexity and Change: Building an Embedded Infection Prevention Research Program." She is internationally recognized for her work advancing embedded, practice-based infection prevention research and holds a conjoint appointment with Queensland Health and the University of Queensland.
