Dear Villanova Summer Music Alumni,
It is with a very heavy heart that we share the news that John Dunphy passed away on Thursday afternoon. His health had been waning this summer. This past week, unfortunately, he experienced quite a decline. His family expressed that he’s no longer suffering, and that he is now resting peacefully, which is comforting.
We know his kind soul and dedication to music education had a small impact on all of you and a profound impact on many.

If Tony was a part of your summer music experience, consider donating to one of the two causes that the family has designated - the Music Program at Gwynedd Mercy Academy or the USArmy TAPS program.
