Congratulations to Villanova Nursing alumni Lillia Kirkwood '25 BSN, RN, and Julianna Stiloski '25 BSN, RN, on completing the nurse residency program at NYU! 👏🎉

As new nurses, both are already making an impact through evidence-based practice projects that improve patient care. Julianna, who works in Labor & Delivery, focused her research on improving outcomes related to postpartum hemorrhage, while Lillia, an OR nurse, explored local anesthetic systemic toxicity.

We're proud to see these nurse graduates applying their Villanova education to advance care and make a difference for patients every day.

Mary E. Halphen Greipp '60 BSN, EdD, RN, FAAN, of Delran, N.J., died on August 17, 2026. She was a 1992 recipient of the College of Nursing's Medallion for Distinguished Contributions to the Profession. Her career spanned clinical practice, education and research.
