3rd- 5th grades have been working hard to create a Farmers Market to compete in the Georgia Foundation of Agriculture STEM challenge in the STEM lab and Technology lab over the last few weeks. We are ready to start creating our "food" for the market. We have made an Amazon wish list to get some things the students asked for to help with their creations. Any donations are greatly appreciated!

🦑🔬 Things got a little squid-ish in 3rd grade today! 😆

We took our learning to the next level by dissecting real squid! Our young scientists got a hands-on look at squid anatomy and had the chance to explore the structures we’ve been learning about. There were lots of curious questions, exciting discoveries, and a few “Ewwww!” moments along the way! 😂🧪

Learning is always more fun when we can get our hands on it! Way to go, little scientists! 💙🦑

Our kindergarten students have been learning about the importance of keeping a steady beat and using their listening skills in music class! This week, we added colorful scarves to our activities. Our 2nd grade students have been learning about minor sounds in music! Minor sounds can make music feel sad, mysterious, or spooky. 👻

Students explored these sounds and added instrumental accompaniments to create their own spooky musical experiences. They enjoyed discovering how instruments can help set the mood and bring music to life! 🎶

Every single day, the staff at Ithica goes above and beyond to make our school a safe, fun, and wonderful place to learn. This month, we are thrilled to recognize two outstanding individuals who bring so much heart to our hallways!
