This week, Mrs. Cramer’s seventh-grade science classes were challenged with keeping SpongeBob alive for five full minutes! Students explored the concept of homeostasis by collecting and recording data as they worked to maintain stable conditions inside his body. They monitored his temperature, adding hot or cold water as needed to keep it within a specific range while also working to maintain his yellow color. It was a fun, hands-on way for students to see how the body works to maintain balance and stability!
