And before you talk yourself out of it — you do not need to own a gun to attend. You can rent a full-size G***k from us for $45 for the range portion. No FOID card required either — if yours has lapsed or you never got one, you can apply simultaneously with your CCL renewal through the Illinois State Police at isp.illinois.gov.

Carrying a concealed firearm in Illinois is a responsibility that starts with the right training.

Global Security Solutions is hosting the Illinois Concealed Carry License class on August 15 and 16 in Oakbrook Terrace — a 16-hour, Illinois State Police-approved course that prepares students to carry with genuine knowledge, sound judgment, and real confidence.

Two weeks out and this class is already moving. If you have been waiting to lock in your spot, this is your window.

The 8-Hour Armed Security Guard Range Day is what stands between you and your Illinois armed security officer certification. We are not here to rush you through a qualification — we are here to make sure that when you leave this range, you actually know what you are doing with your firearm.
