Shoutout to the night shift crew who are currently watching the sunrise and thinking "bedtime." 🌅😴
You know you're a night shift nurse when:
🌙 You eat "breakfast" at 7 PM
☀️ Daylight feels personally offensive
☕ Your coffee order confuses baristas ("Is this for now or...?")
🦇 You've had full conversations you don't remember
😵 "What day is it?" is a legitimate daily question
🌃 You celebrate making it to 3 AM like it's a milestone (because IT IS)
🛌 Blackout curtains are your love language
📱 You text your day shift friends at 2 AM forgetting normal people are asleep
Real talk though:
Night shift is a different beast. Fewer resources. Skeleton crew. Patients who save their emergencies for 2 AM. And somehow you're still expected to be just as sharp at hour 11 as you were at hour 1.
