The IFS Middle School Club Fair gave our students a chance to see all the different ways they can be part of the school community beyond the classroom.

Students explored clubs, met with teachers and fellow students, asked questions, and signed up for activities that matched their interests.

It was great to see the energy, excitement, and sense of community throughout the fair. We’re looking forward to a great year of student involvement at IFS, Insha’Allah!

Qur’an learning comes to life in Ms. Farida’s classroom. 📖

Students across 6th–9th grade took part in hands-on activities designed to strengthen their understanding of Tajweed and Qur’an recitation.

9th graders explored the letters of Qalqalah and Tafkheem, while 8th graders worked with Lam Shamsiyyah and Lam Qamariyyah to better understand the rules of the definite article. Our 6th and 7th graders practiced writing short ayat, focusing on accurate harakat and mudud while building confidence in their Qur’anic writing.

Through activities like these, students are not only learning the rules of Tajweed, but putting them into practice as they continue strengthening their relationship with the Qur’an.

Learning comes to life in Ms. Hicran’s 2B classroom! 🌎

After learning about different landforms and how they are formed, students put their knowledge into action by creating their own landforms with play dough.

Along the way, they worked together, shared ideas, and helped one another bring their creations to life. A fun, hands-on way to turn classroom learning into something students can see, build, and remember.

The 2026 IFS High School Club Fair was all about students discovering new interests, meeting new people, and finding ways to get involved. 🙌

From HOSA, DECA, MIST, and Mock Trial to Robotics, Student Council, Art & Craft, and more, our students had the opportunity to explore the many clubs and organizations available at IFS.

These opportunities are an important part of the high school experience, helping students build leadership, develop new skills, and strengthen their connection to the school community.

🌎 A major milestone for IFS.

We are proud to share that Project Sukoon has officially joined the UNICEF Clubs program, connecting our students to a global network committed to protecting and advancing the rights and well-being of children around the world.

This is more than a new club affiliation. It gives IFS students the opportunity to engage with global issues, participate in service and advocacy initiatives, develop as leaders, and represent their values through meaningful action.

At IFS, we believe education should prepare students not only to succeed, but to serve, lead, and make a difference. We are incredibly proud of the students behind Project Sukoon and excited for what this opportunity will bring, In shā’ Allāh.

A new school year is here, and with it comes a fresh opportunity to learn, grow, and create meaningful memories together. 📚

Alhamdulillah, we’re grateful to welcome our students back and see our classrooms, hallways, and community come alive once again.

As we begin this new year, we ask Allah (SWT) to place barakah in our students’ knowledge, strengthen their character and faith, and make this a year of growth, friendship, and success both inside and outside the classroom.
