Dear [Community/Parents/Guardians],
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the upcoming closure of Playtime Cooperative Nursery School. Due to financial challenges, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors effective December 21, 2024. This decision was not made lightly, and we deeply regret any inconvenience or disruption this may cause to our families and the community.
For many years, Playtime Cooperative Nursery School has been dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children, fostering their growth and development with care and commitment. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts to sustain the preschool, current financial circumstances have made it impossible to continue operating.
We understand the impact this closure may have on families and are committed to supporting a smooth transition for our students. Our team is available to provide information and resources to assist you in finding alternative educational options.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your trust and support over the years. It has been a privilege to be a part of your child’s early learning journey, and we are immensely proud of the memories we have created together.

We’re excited to welcome our new Childcare Assistant, Nichole Sheckles, to the preschool team this year! With a warm and enthusiastic approach, Nichole brings a wealth of experience in childhood education and a genuine passion for nurturing young minds. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging environment where every child feels valued and inspired to learn. We’re excited for Nichole to join us in fostering a joyful and enriching preschool experience for all our little ones!

Nichole Sheckles lives in Camargo with her husband Jay and their doggies. Swimming, reading, volunteering, and binge-watching shows are her favorite things. Working in education since 2000, she is looking forward to meeting new smiling faces this year! She is excited to witness students learn through play, socialize, become friends, and have FUN!

We are thrilled to welcome back Whitney Grover for the upcoming preschool year. With her extensive experience, unwavering dedication, and passion for early childhood education, Whitney plays a crucial role in creating a nurturing and enriching environment for our young learners. Her leadership and vision have been instrumental in shaping the success of our preschool, and we are excited to see the positive impact she will continue to have on our students, staff, and families.

Whitney Grover resides in her hometown of Newman with her husband, Jon, and three kids, Keagan (12), Max (8), and Thea (4). In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, whether it’s swimming, going on multiple golf cart rides a day, cooking, or anything outdoors. Whitney is on her 16th year teaching preschool. Her favorite thing about this age is watching them learn even the smallest tasks and using them in their daily activities (sometimes without even knowing it). Her hope for this school year, and all others, is that each and every child gets the most out of their preschool experience and their love for learning.
