I had such an amazing day at Sustainability Market yesterday! Thank you to everyone who came out to support and all the other women-owned, sustainability-focused businesses. I loved seeing familiar faces and sharing the love of bees with new people 🐝💛 By showing up for small, eco-conscious businesses, you’re helping our community grow stronger and more sustainable together. 🌏🌱

🍯 Sweet news! I did say I was out of honey… but I’ve been saving a special reserve just for this Sunday’s Sustainability Market.
Come by and stock up while you can. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!

🗓 Sunday, March 15th 1-3pm

Just a few days away! Join me this Sunday, March 15th (1–3 PM) at the Sherwood Center in Fairfax for Leading the Change Toward a Sustainable Future - a free community event celebrating women-led sustainability.
There’s been a lot of buzz lately about the ethics of beekeeping and its role in the environment. Come learn how small-scale, backyard hives differ from industrial agriculture, and how caring for bees can help heal ecosystems from the ground up. 🌎💛
I’ll be sharing insights on ethical beekeeping and offering honey and beeswax candles from our family-owned hives.
I can’t wait to connect with you! 🐝

Not all beekeeping is created equal. The industrial “Big AG” approach (shipping millions of hives, over treating colonies, mass breeding mediocre stock) DOES stress pollinators and ecosystems. But ethical, small-scale beekeeping is different. With care and intentionality, it can boost your local ecosystem, helping native bees and honeybees alike.

🌿🐝 I’m excited to join for Leading the Change Toward a Sustainable Future on March 15th, 1–3 PM at the Sherwood Center!
I’ll be sharing how ethical, small-scale beekeeping supports both bees and our ecosystems, and why backyard hives are a world apart from industrial agriculture. 🌎✨
Come learn how you can transform your backyard (and our planet!) through more sustainable practices. Plus, enjoy some of our local honey and hand-poured beeswax candles, made with care and respect for the bees 🐝💛
I hope to see you there!

Yesterday’s Meet the Beekeeper pop‑up was pure magic. 🐝✨
Kids got to step into the world of honeybees to discover how pollination works through hands‑on exploration, plant native pollinator-friendly seeds to take home, and of course taste pure raw honey from our family-owned hives🍯 The smiles say it all!
Huge love to for hosting and to every single person who stopped by - family, friends, and new faces alike. Your support and kindness mean the world to me. Watching everyone connect with these little pollinators brings me so much joy 💛
A special shoutout to Matt at for his incredible hive and life cycle models. Kids (and adults) were fascinated! They were the perfect tools to bring honeybee science to life. 🐝🔍
