We are SO proud of of our dancers for their performances this past weekend in OCMD! Our dancers continuous hard work and determination never goes unnoticed, and we are so grateful for each and every one of them.

We are also proud to announce that our Senior teams are for the Dance Worlds 2023! Special Shout-out to Senior Hip Hop Swag for their Partial Paid Bid and Senior Lyrical for their At Large Bid!

🌈 At Velocity Dance, we believe that LOVE is LOVE as much as we believe in equality and celebrating our differences without judgment. For the remainder of the month of June, we will allow dancers and staff to deviate from our standard all black dress code (except for ballet and choreography) and allow the dancers to wear whatever color makes them the happiest. Again, in ballet on Tuesdays and Thursdays dancers MUST wear black leo, pink tights (without holes or major runs) and appropriate shoes as shown in the graphic sent last Thursday. Additionally, for choreography at the end of this month dancers will be provided guidance on what to wear.

It’s Pride month! 🏳️‍🌈 I want to give the biggest shoutout in show of my appreciation to Velocity, Suzanne Mansfield, past/future/current staff, dancers, and the all-star dance world as a whole. Without them, there would be so many dancers who didn’t have a place where they felt comfortable and we’ve created an environment where we embrace everyone’s differences. The studio is one of my favorite places on this Earth and that’s because of the people I choose to surround myself with. You are always welcome! Love is love 🤍
