Last night’s Veterans Day celebration we have been doing this celebration for 10 years! Chef Stephen is a vet and well as my brother who is no longer with us. It is our pleasure to give back to all that served!!! It meant the world to us to have you all there! A very special thanks to Lori, Jeff, Melissa and Jackie! Love you all! Chef Stephen’s menu was coconut shrimp with mango sauce, braised boneless beef short ribs with asparagus and finish the evening a puff pastry tart! It was a please to cook with you!

Chef Stephen and I are cooking for 21 veterans tonight! It’s something we have been doing for a long time! We love giving back! Thank you to all that have served our country!

We had a great time last night with perfect pairings Restorante italiano! A special thanks to Maddie for bringing in a roasted tomato focaccia! Check out the things she makes on Vienna foodies facebook! It was a great paring with the meatballs we made! So last nights menu was crepes stuffed with mushrooms and ricotta, polpetti simmered in salsa pomodoro with whipped ricotta, chicken Marsala with lentil ragu with bacon and sausage and green beans and the dessert Nonna’s torta Della nonna! A very special night and thank you to all that came and our amazing volunteer assistants!

Had a wonderful bridal shower today and worked with chef Christine which is always a pleasure! Made caramelized onion and bluecheese crostini, fettuccine with mushrooms, artichoke and capers, chicken fricassee and a chocolate and coffee budino for dessert

From last night French Country Dinner, started off with roasted butternut squash and bacon quiche, then roasted beet and walnut salad with creme fraische in endive boats, roasted chicken with potato and Swiss chard galettes and leek. Finished off the evening with raspberry soufflés! Thanks to all that joined us and our assistants!
