Community Emergency Preparedness Event

Johnson County residents are invited to attend a community emergency preparedness event sponsored by the American Red Cross and Johnson County ESDA/Emergency Management on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Vienna High School.

The event will be held in the Vienna High School Media Center and will provide community members with an opportunity to learn more about local emergency management efforts, how emergency response is carried out, and ways residents can become involved.

Organizers hope the event will help keep community members informed about what local emergency response agencies do before, during and after unusual or emergency events, as well as the importance of community involvement in preparing for and responding to those situations.

Community members are encouraged to attend and learn more about how they can help their families and communities prepare for emergencies.

Pre-registration is encouraged. Residents can use the QR code on the event flyer to register in advance.

For additional information or questions about the event, contact Johnson County ESDA/Emergency Management Coordinator Rich Marose at [email protected].
