Holy Comforter Preschool & Kindergarten

Week 2 of camp (Holiday Week) started with students celebrating Valentines Day! We explored ways to spread love around to our friends and family, much like how bees spread pollen around and pollinate flowers. Our in-house field trip for the week was a visit from a beekeeper! Honey, anyone?

Summer may not actually start for a few weeks, but "summer camp" is in full tilt! 45 campers are enjoying plenty of fun lessons about outer space - including how astronauts train, what meteors and asteroids are, and how to make a mess (creating craters)!

Today, we had an amazing in-house field trip- a planetarium! Thanks to https://cosmic-adventures.com/ for allowing our students to explore the wonder of the universe without having to traveling outside of HCEPK!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! All of our wonderful teachers make HCEP&K the best place to have your kids spend their preschool years. They are truly the gift that keeps on giving. Thank you for all you do!

In celebration of Earth and Arbor days last week, HCEPK had a special visitor. Tom Tibbets (an Arborist) spoke to our students about the importance of taking care of the planet and some fun facts about trees.

Our kiddos didn't just leave with more knowledge, but a Magnolia sapling to take home too. 🌳 🌲 🌴 🌳 🌲 🌴 🌳

On behalf of the staff at Holy Comforter Preschool and Kindergarten, I want to extend a sincere thank you to all the families that were able to participate in our auction last night! Whether you were there in-person playing one of our games, bidding on pieing me in the face or if you gave a donation leading up to the event, our staff are incredibly grateful to have you as a part of our school community.
