JPMS MONTESSORI Summer camps run for 10 weeks in hours 8-5pm and engage students in interactive activities designed to reinforce state standards for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) education. Students will be immersed in a variety of topics that help them to create, design, build, move and learn! School year 2021/22 came on with great start and classrooms are slowly normalizing. We are jumping into Montessori lessons and students are enjoying it every day.
JollyPlace daily classroom schedule is filled with transitions. Providing creative and fun ways to help young children transition between activities is one that works to improve children's focus and concentration. Jollyplace students love to read books while waiting for rest of the friends to finish using restrooms. The boardbooks are small in size to make handing easier and are placed in small baskets underneath the benches. This has been one of the best ways to make the bathroom transitions so much better.
Music JollyPlace students listen to a performance of "Love's greeting" & "Shall we tango" performed by Jollyplace Music Teacher Ms. Yustine Park on piano and her son - Hansae Kwon on violin. Hansae's years of practice, dedication and commitment and Ms.Yustina's guiding hand in pursuing music education has made him a recipient of the renowned John Hopkins Peabody Institute scholarship. What a inspiration to our young preschoolers. Thank you for sharing your talents.

It was a bright beautiful August morning in 2016 that we had assembled together in Jollyplace for a meet and greet of new teachers and staff. There amongst us sat in a circle - the ever beautiful and vivacious , our very own ‘Ms.SAHAR ‘.
Intelligent ,accepting and ever caring , she stole the heart of each and everyone of us . Impeccably dressed adorned with a beautiful smile Sahar embraced the beauty of life in every sense of the way. She brought in with her an energy filled with compassion, intelligence and hard work every single morning as she walked through the door of our school and sprinkled it liberally around us !
After fighting a painful battle with Cancer like a Braveheart , our beautiful and loving Sahar left us all yesterday , Saturday October 3rd to a cherished space of her dream, into the realm of peace and blissfulness .
We at JollyPlace remember you Ms.Sahar , dwelling in our heart and shining in our memories every single day and beyond...

JollyPlace Enrichment Classes
Today students had Taekwondo with Master Andy and Drama with Ms. Ilona. JollyPlace gym and classrooms were filled with giggles and laughter of happy, engaged students. JollyPlace offers variety of enrichment programs this year such as Taekwondo, Drama, Music, Soccer, PE and Spanish. We are fortunate to have our wonderful teachers back for in-person instruction.
JollyPlace Montessori has started the 2020/21 school year for in-person and virtual learning. It has been a few weeks now since we are back to school and teachers and students are adapting to the new routines. Health and safety procedures are being implemented in the classroms with great success. Our students are happy to be back, making new friends, responsibly socializing and learning new skills every day. We have few limited spaces in our Kindergarten and 3's/4's class. JollyPlace Montessori is currently open for virtual learning camp Session 1 which is ongoing through July 17th. Session 2 Virtual is scheduled to start July 20th through August 20th.
