We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible generosity of our Cedar Lane community. You showed up for our students in a huge way, and we cannot thank you enough.
Because of you, the Cedar Closet will be stocked with clothing, toiletries, and snacks for students who need extra support during the school day.
These items may seem simple, but they can make a meaningful difference. They can help a student feel comfortable, cared for, supported, and ready to learn.

💙 A Little Goes a Long Way for a Cedar Lane Panther
Vienna, we still need your help. 💙
Behind every item on our Cedar Closet list is a student who may need it.
A warm hoodie. A new pair of socks. Toiletries. A snack to get through the day or the weekend. These may seem like small things, but for a student who needs them, they can mean comfort, dignity, and knowing that someone cares.
Our Cedar Closet helps make sure our Panthers have access to some of the everyday essentials they need to feel supported and ready to learn.

🌟 Cedar Lane School Is SO Grateful for FCPS Employee Wellness!
Cedar Lane School is overflowing with appreciation for FCPS Employee Wellness for bringing their incredible Zen Den experience to our staff. It was exactly what our team needed- a moment to breathe, reset, and feel truly cared for.
They shared so many valuable resources, including confidential counseling, wellness tools, crisis support, and programs designed to help staff navigate stress, work–life balance, and overall well‑being. And the swag… our staff felt spoiled in the best way.
Their visit reminded us that when educators are supported, grounded, and cared for, they can show up even stronger for their students.
Thank you, FCPS Employee Wellness, for pouring into our community with such heart.
