The Capital Area Tibetan School gathers every weekend for couple of hours at local Community Center or Church facilities to teach Tibetan language, cultural songs and dances, and other aspects of Tibetan heritage to Tibetan children in the DMV area.

Cata Sundayschool has officially opened for the 2024-2025 academic year. Kyabjé Shartul Dhamchoe Gyatso Rinpoche blessed the school, offering prayers and advice to the children. Tenzin Choetsow, a recent Fulbright Scholar, shared her experiences at Harvard and provided admission tips to the students. Additionally, a representative from Sherab Lamton introduced the mentorship program to the children.
