Week of the Young Child with The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) starts tomorrow! How are you planning to celebrate early childhood educations (and educators!) all week?
The unofficial motto at our preschool is "It's probably ok." Because when a parent nervously asks if what the child is doing (like climbing up the slide) is ok, we are probably going to say yes! HOWEVER, there is a big difference between play that is risky and play that is reckless.
