🍦📚 WE HAVE SOME 5/5 WRITERS IN THE HOUSE! 📚🍦

A huge congratulations to these amazing 4th graders—Sally Ann Chapman, Jillian Zoch, Sianna Haeggquist, Julianna Wukasch, and Addilyn Musick—for earning a perfect 5/5 on their essays! 🌟📝

Their hard work, focus, and incredible writing skills have officially paid off! To celebrate this awesome achievement, they’ve earned a well-deserved treat from Dairy Queen! 🎉🍧 We are so incredibly proud of their dedication to their writing.

Keep up the fantastic work, girls! Who else is ready to write their way to a Sweet Treat? ✏️💪

💡🚀 INVENTOR MODE: ON! 🚀💡

Mrs. Herrington’s 4th graders have officially transitioned from reading about history’s greatest ideas to becoming innovators themselves! As part of their "Eureka! The Art of Invention" unit in Bluebonnet Reading, these creative students have been busy designing, building, and problem-solving.

Equipped with cardboard, cups, blocks, and tons of imagination, they’ve been collaborating in teams to bring their original prototypes to life. Seeing their teamwork, critical thinking, and sheer determination in action has been incredible.

⚡️ HAPPY NATIONAL COACHES DAY! ⚡️

Meet Pine Forest’s very own P.E. Power Duo! Today, we are celebrating Coach Jessica Winters and her amazing Paraprofessional Amanda Smith.

Day in and day out, these two bring unstoppable superhero energy to our gym! They don’t just teach game day skills—they inspire, encourage, and help our Pine Forest Pirates build teamwork, confidence, and heart. 💪🏆

Thank you, Coach Winters and Ms. Amanda, for being the ultimate mentors, cheerleaders, and heroes for our kids. Pine Forest is so lucky to have you on our team! 🖤💛 🌲

Leaping into learning in Mrs. Beard’s 3rd-grade class! 🐸✨

Today her students took a deep dive into the fascinating world of poison dart frogs! Students teamed up to design visual anchor charts on giant whiteboards, took the stage (complete with a "mic"!) to present their research to classmates, and then put their reading skills to the test with an active scavenger hunt.

Armed with paired reading passages and clipboards, they tracked down clue cards around the room to answer comprehension questions and build their knowledge.

High engagement, great teamwork, and confident public speaking—way to go, Mrs. Beard’s class! 👏📚

🏴‍☠️ One student, one book, big impact!
Help our Student Council and Rotary partners fill the treasure chest this October! We’re collecting new and gently used books in the front office bin all month long to benefit the YMCA After-School Program. Thank you for your support, Pirates! 📖✨
