Our students at Oak Forest will be trying black grapes today thanks to our Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program! We love giving our kids the opportunity to taste new, healthy fruits and build great habits—one bite at a time! 💜🍎🥕

🍊 Texas Fresh Taste Test at Oak Forest Elementary! 🍊

Today our Oak Forest students got to crunch, munch, and taste some Texas-grown orange wedges through our Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program (FFVP)!

Did you know?
➡️ Oranges are packed with vitamin C, which helps keep our bodies healthy and strong 💪
➡️ They help keep us hydrated and give us natural energy ⚡
➡️ When fruit is grown closer to home, it’s often fresher and tastier 🌱🍊

We love giving our students the chance to try new fruits, learn where their food comes from, and build healthy habits that can last a lifetime. By the smiles we saw today, these Texas oranges were a sweet success! 😄
