Southeastern Technical College is excited to share the wonderful news of a new partnership with South Georgia State College that creates a seamless pathway for students pursuing careers in elementary and special education. Through a new articulation agreement signed today, graduates of Southeastern Tech’s Associate of Science in Education degree will be able to transfer seamlessly into South Georgia State College’s Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Special Education degree program.
Even more exciting, beginning next fall, South Georgia State College will offer the junior and senior years of the bachelor’s degree program on Southeastern Tech’s Vidalia campus.
This partnership provides an incredible opportunity for our students to earn a bachelor’s degree and prepare to become elementary educators without having to leave our community. It will also benefit our local school systems, as these future educators will have opportunities to complete internships and gain valuable classroom experience in our local schools.
