Mrs. Wilson's 4th grade students became engineers today and created simple electrical systems in class! They had such a great time, and it was wonderful to see all students fully engaged in the lesson! After creating the system, Mrs. Wilson challenged students to work to slow down the speed of the blade AND to try to make the blade rotate in the opposite direction. Here's the best part - students accepted and met the challenge as well as explained how they did it! Good job, Amanda Wilson! Keep making science come alive for our students! Hats off to the students for working so hard! What's next?

🗣🗣Our cafeteria staff is better than yours!!! 🗣🗣

Today our cafeteria staff treated us to a back to school lunch - shrimp fried rice, fried chicken drummettes, and three kinds of cake (strawberry, lemon, and chocolate)!! Talk about good!!! No one was left out today!! And I ate so much that I had to walk around the school! 😂😂😂

Today was a good day! Today was a good day! Today was a good day! We had a smooth beginning and an almost flawless dismissal. We couldn't have asked for a better first day! I'm looking forward to tomorrow! 😊

Fun fact: We had on our matching first day shirts! Everyone looked so good! I believe I was the only one who didn't take a picture! 😂
