Today was an exciting day—our Into to Cosmetology students officially received their first clients in the salon, their classmates. 💇‍♀️✨

Being able to perform services in a real salon setting gives our students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and continue perfecting their skills. It also reinforces the importance of proper cleaning and disinfecting to keep our salon safe and professional. According to their instructor Mrs. Amelia Moore, “I am so proud of them and can’t wait to watch them continue to grow!”

Our Auto One students are taking their SP2 Safety Training and building important workplace safety skills. Students are also completing a fire extinguisher task designed to help them understand how to respond appropriately and safely during a fire emergency.

These hands-on learning experiences prepare students with the knowledge and confidence they need for success in the automotive industry. Great job, students!

What a special and memorable day at the SECCA Board Meeting! We were honored to have the JROTC program share an informative presentation about their activities and the many opportunities they provide for our students.

A special thank-you to Colonel Jasmine Nichols, Major Cole Russell, and CSM Kennedy Wardlaw for assisting Captain Ware with the presentation and showcasing the dedication and leadership of our JROTC cadets.

The occasion became even more meaningful when Toombs County Schools Superintendent Barry Waller participated in a special promotion ceremony. We were proud to witness Russell, a Toombs County High School student, being promoted from Captain to Major.

Congratulations, Major Russell! Your hard work, leadership, and commitment are inspiring. We are proud of our students and grateful for the adults who help guide them toward success.

JROTC kicked off the year with an awesome fun day, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to welcome everyone! 🇺🇸💪

This year is extra special as we celebrate having 45 freshmen — the largest freshman class JROTC has ever had! Our cadets enjoyed delicious grilled hot dogs 🌭, chips, and soda before heading into the game room for some fun with arcade games 🕹️🎮.

It was a fantastic day filled with food, laughter, games, and, most importantly, building friendships and strengthening our JROTC family. ❤️
