🎉 Child care providers won a HISTORIC victory this week! 🎉 𝘓𝘢𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘴 𝘥𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘥𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭 𝘰𝘣𝘵𝘶𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘯 𝘶𝘯𝘢 𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘢 𝘏𝘐𝘚𝘛Ó𝘙𝘐𝘊𝘈 𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘢!

We are still finalizing the details of these programs and when you can start to receive these new benefits. As soon as we have more information, we will be updating providers. 🎊🎉¡Lo logramos! Debido a que las proveedoras de cuidado infantil pasaron a la acción al hacer miles de llamadas a la oficina del gobernador, visitar a los legisladores y pasando a la acción a nivel local y en Sacramento, ¡nuestro sindicato llegó a un acuerdo sobre cuidado de salud asequible y jubilación!

Como resultado, miles de proveedoras de cuidado infantil tendrán un mejor acceso a un cuidado de salud asequible y de calidad. Este es ⚡️ la fuerza ⚡️ de las proveedoras de cuidado infantil para lograr cambios a través de nuestro sindicato. ¡Estén atentos para más detalles!

We join the celebration of and declare that many contributions to our economy, our history, and our future not only come from women we must also acknowledge and honor family child care providers.

We are the backbone of our country's and local economy's success. We are the educators who give every child a solid launch into their educational careers, no matter what language they speak, what zip code they live in, or their accommodations to learn.

We deserve the right to livable wages, to retire in dignity, and the respect and health care access other union workers receive.

🚸 Child care providers phone banked for Newsom this weekend because we know that if we fail to reject the recall of Governor Newsom, there’s not one candidate on the ballot who will bargain with our union over retirement or paid time off.
