Have you heard??? Coach Dusty Lemke has been named the Assistant Coach of the Year by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches! He was selected as the top assistant for all private schools in the entire state of Texas!!! Make sure to give Coach Dusty some love when you see him this week.

The honors keep rolling in for FA Hoops! Senior Zach Kunchandy has been named Academic All-State by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches. Zach was one of only 19 private school athletes to receive this recognition in the entire state!!!

Zach Kunchandy, Josh Beliveau, and Aaron Wendel received TAPPS' highest academic honor today, as all three were recognized as Academic All-State for the 2014-15 basketball season. These guys get it done on the court and in the classroom!

Have you heard??? Seniors Joe Rodriguez and Derick Garcia have been named to the TAPPS Honorable Mention All-State Team for their performances this year!

The backcourt duo led the Cougars (29-9) to the second most wins in school history, along with a second place district finish - the school's highest finish in the last five years.

Congratulations to seniors Joe Rodriguez, Derick Garcia, and Zach Kunchandy for being named First Team All-District after leading the Cougars to a 29-9 season!

Joe averaged 14.9 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, while also leading the team in assists (5.7 per game) and steals (3.4 per game).

Derek averaged 15.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.

Zach led the team with 15.5 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game, while also shooting a team-best 53% from the field.

Josh Beliveau, Aaron Wendel and Javan Wharton have been named to the All-District Second Team by the district coaches. Congrats on all your hard work fellas!!!

Congrats to junior Cirildo Garza and freshman Jonathan Boehm for being named Honorable Mention All-District for their efforts this year!
