NISD's Career Day was a huge success, thanks to our exceptional presenters from Prosperity Bank, Susie Lenhart Caldwell Banker, Klaus Tinsley Off Shore Drilling, Dow Science Team, Cuero HEB, Black Bird Yoga, Cuero Hospital, Repsol STEM Lab, Dr. McNeil, PHI, and Limitless Off Road.

Lots of fun happening over the next few weeks.

This week, Nursery Elementary had a ribbon-cutting for their new Stem Lab.

A special thank you to the Cal Ripkin Foundation and Repsol for making this happen for our school district.

Our 6th and 7th graders learned about some valuable skills that could help save lives. The 7th graders learned about Stop the Bleed and earned a certificate. They also learned about hands only CPR. Both 6th and 7th learned about dangerous opiods and life saving Narcan.

Join us in celebrating PK - 7th grades' achievements throughout the year in the Art, Band, and GT Programs!

All students will have art in the showcase and the

4th-7th Grade Band will perform.

GT will showcase their portfolio.

This past weekend, our Mighty Nursery Cougar Band competed in the Midcoast Middle School Solo and Ensemble contest held at Patti Welder Middle School in Victoria, TX. 48 students competed and brought home 31 Superior ratings and 23 Excellent ratings! The majority of these students are 4th and 5th grade elementary students. We are so proud of their progress and growth!
