The National Association of Colleges & Employers (NACE) has released the spring update to their 2026 Job Outlook Report. The report includes the following chart reflecting the importance employers place on career competencies vs. the proficiency they are seeing in new hires.

Gaining those critical career competencies is important. Visit with the Career Development Center staff on ways that you can strengthen your skills!
