Vickers Families,
Thank you so much for your patience today during our first dismissal of the school year! Even with a few first-day challenges, we were finished by 4:00 PM. During the year, we typically finish dismissal by about 3:30, so before we know it, our students and staff will be in a great rhythm!
To help with the congestion we experienced on Glasgow today, please take a look at the map showing the areas where car riders should line up. Following these routes will help us keep traffic moving as smoothly and safely as possible.
If your child is a walker and you park in the grass, please make sure your vehicle is completely off the street so traffic can continue to flow on Glasgow.
Also, a friendly reminder that only students in 1st–5th grade may be walkers. Pre-K and Kindergarten students must go home by car, bus, or daycare.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding! Those of you who have been at Vickers for a while know that we iron out the kinks pretty quickly. Once our Lions learn the routine, we’ll be in a groove and dismissal will be running smoothly before we know it! ❤️🦁🖤
