🚨 Big Game Alert 🚨

Kayson Hernandez (Goliad) dropped 18 points in a victory tonight at Tuesday Night Junior High Hoops! 🏀

This 7th grader can really go! Kayson is super skilled for his age and has some great height to go with his game. He has a really nice touch on his shot, can score around the rim, and impacts the game in so many different ways! 💯

If we had to describe his game, we’d call him a point forward because he can do just about everything on the floor. He handles it, passes it, scores it, and makes winning plays! 💪💪💪

Bright future ahead for this young athlete. Keep an eye on Kayson Hernandez! 👀💪🏀

It was never about the rings. 🏀💛

The rings are cool, and the kids love them. But what matters most are the lessons learned, the friendships built, and the confidence gained along the way.

This weekend was another reminder of how grateful we are for the families, coaches, and athletes who continue to make ALPHA HOOPS special.

🏀 4th grade continues building toward the Alodia National Championship after earning a Gold Championship earlier this season.

🏀 5th grade was coming off a championship run of their own and once again showed toughness and resilience all weekend.

🔥 6th grade went undefeated, winning by an average of 24 points per game and earning a trip to the Road to Nationals National Championship at the Alamodome.

💪 7th grade continues to grow every week, and we’re excited to begin building a Rising 8th Grade squad for the Alodia National Championship this summer.

🏆 8th grade battled back after a difficult first day, shot over 60% from three-point range, and found a way to bring home a championship despite having no post players available all weekend.

The championship was earned. The rings are simply a reminder of the journey.

🚨 Player Spotlight: Niccolo Fair (Cade) 🚨

Niccolo Fair put together a big performance, dropping 23 points in a victory and showing why he’s a player to keep an eye on. 💪🏀

The 7th grader from Cade standing at 5’9”, already has the frame of a high school athlete, making it hard to believe he’s only heading into the 7th grade!!! 😬 While basketball is still relatively new to him, one thing is clear, every time we see him at the Crossroads Sports Center, he’s improved!!! 🙌

Fair has a natural feel around the rim, finishes well in traffic, and competes with a toughness that stands out. He plays with a chip on his shoulder and looks like he wants to be the toughest player on the court every time he steps between the lines! 💪 💪 💪

The future is bright for this young Cade athlete. Keep an eye on Niccolo Fair! He is only getting started. 👀
