Hey, Braves! The 2026–2027 ASU Foundation Phase I Scholarship Application opens Sunday, March 15, 2026, on Scholarship Universe and closes at 11:55 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026.

This phase is open to all current and incoming students. Awards are based on scholarship criteria, fund availability, financial need, academic merit, and timely submission so don't wait until the last minute!

We’re officially in the waiting season.

The applications are in. The essays have been written. The FAFSA has been refreshed approximately 47 times. And now… we wait.

If you have a senior at home, you know the vibe. It’s hard to stay motivated to keep applying for scholarships when you haven’t heard back from the early ones yet. My own senior would very much like to “just see what happens” at this point. I, however, would like to see what happens with about 21 more applications submitted.

Parents, it’s okay if your encouragement is starting to sound like a broken record.
Seniors, it’s okay if you’re tired. This part is emotionally draining. But here’s the truth: You can’t win the scholarships you don’t ever apply for. Waiting is normal. Silence is normal. Keep going anyway.

Submit the next one. And then another. Future You will be so glad you did!
