Our new teachers began the morning exploring research-based instructional strategies, collaborating with colleagues, and engaging in opportunities for professional growth. All Switzerland County School Corporation campuses will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Friday.

This scheduled delay allows our teachers and staff dedicated time for professional development.

Students: Please adjust your morning routines and bus pickup times accordingly by 2 hours.

Staff: Report per your building's professional development schedule.

Yesterday, Switzerland County School Corporation kicked off the 2026–27 school year with our annual Corporate Breakfast! 🧡💙

This year, our theme is simple but powerful: We’re Bringing the JOY Back into Teaching! 🎉

📣Our annual Meet Your Teacher Open House will be held on Thursday, August 6.

🍎Elementary Schools: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Junior High and High School: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
After you've had a chance to meet your child's teacher, we invite you to tour our campus and see all that Switzerland County School Corporation has to offer.

‼️Classes will officially begin on Monday, August 10.
