Toothpicks, marshmallows, and major engineering! 📐🍡

Our SCHS Technical Math students put their structural knowledge to the test today! Using a scale where 1 toothpick = 12 feet, they were challenged to design and build 60-foot bridges and functional ferris wheels.

💀Inside the lab today! 🔬 Our PLTW Human Body Systems students were busy mapping out the human skeleton. Before diving into complex physiology, mastering directional terms like anterior, posterior, superior, and dorsal is essential.

🩺 Anatomy & Physiology: Learning by Doing! 🧠

Who knew Barbie and Ken could make anatomy class this much more interesting?

Our Anatomy & Physiology students used Barbie dolls to practice anatomical language and medical terminology by creating realistic scenarios and demonstrating different conditions and injuries.

From Septic Barbie and Lab Accident Barbie to Severe Dehydration Barbie and Internal Injury Ken, students used creativity to bring their learning to life while identifying and communicating what was happening anatomically.

📚 Learning doesn’t always have to come from a textbook—sometimes it comes with a little creativity, a lot of teamwork, and a few Barbies! 💗

🏈 It’s GAME DAY! 🧡💙

The Switzerland County Pacers are headed to Crawford County tonight for their first game of the season! But before they hit the field, our captains took a moment to recognize the people who have inspired them, supported them, and made a difference in their lives.

On Friday morning, each captain presented his game jersey to a special teacher or staff member:

🏈 Easton Jesop → Miss Rahe Jean
🏈 Nehemiah Holliday → Mr. Sanders
🏈 Masin Stroud → Kim, our high school lunch lady
🏈 Aiden Green → Mrs. Parsons

We love seeing our athletes recognize the people who have helped shape them both on and off the field. ❤️

Good luck tonight, Pacers! Go out there, play hard, support one another, and make us proud!
