Dear St. Leo Families,

God’s abundant blessings to each of you as you begin this fall break. May the Holy Spirit renew and restore you with a time of rest and also protection and peace whether you are traveling or staying home. May the Holy Spirit bless your children with a spirit of gratitude for how they are learning each day and a spirit of fortitude and discipline to work more diligently in the classes they find more challenging.

May the Holy Spirit be with Principal Rowe, our teachers and staff for these days of rest. May they and each of us have a special closeness and intercession to St. Carlo Acutis in these coming days approaching his feast day on October 12th through Christ our Lord.

During your time of rest, you might like to join St. Leo’s Hallow Community as we do the Prayer Challenge: Rebuild My Church. Each day we have heard beautiful reflections by Fr. Dave Pivonka and Fr. Mike Schmitz about the lives of St. Francis, St. Teresa of Kolkata, and St. Carlo Acutis.

Join me in praying Rebuild My Church with St. Leo.

🐾 Pet Blessing 2026 🐾

What a beautiful morning at St. Leo! Today, in celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi and the conclusion of the Season of Creation, our St. Leo families gathered for a special Blessing of the Pets before Mass. From dogs and cats to all of our furry friends, it was wonderful to see so many beloved members of our St. Leo families join us! 🐾

St. Francis reminds us to recognize God’s goodness in all of creation and to care for the world—and all the creatures—with which we have been blessed.

St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us! 🙏💙💛
