CROSS PLAINS ALUMNI....... Letters are in the mail. I'm still finding some addresses that are incorrect or didn't get properly changed. Sooo if you don't receive yours or know someone that doesn't receive theirs PLEASE PLEASE CALL ME!

It's getting to be that time of year! Time to start planning for our Annual CPHS Alumni Dinner. So circle your calendar for the last Saturday in June, June 27th at the South Ripley Elementary School.
Remember it is open to anyone that ever attended school at Cross Plains, Benham or Friendship. If you know of anyone that is not on the mailing list, please have them notify me, Joyce Vanosdol.
Also if you know of anyone that has passed away since last year, please let me know. Also need any address changes.

Many of you are aware that prior to the Alumni gathering in June, I received a letter from Deanna Wooley expressing her desire to withdraw from being Treasurer for our group. Reluctantly Carolyn Hankins agreed to fill that spot unless we could find someone else to do it. Those present took a unanimous vote that Carolyn would take over.
Meanwhile since then, Dwight "Butch" Lamb contacted me and said that he would be willing to fill that spot. So I agreed. He met with Deanna at the Friendship Bank in Madison and took care of the necessary transactions. Sending the copies to the Friendship Bank in Versailles for me to sign. I have done that and effective immediately Dwight is our official Treasurer.

Oh what a fun day yesterday. The Cross Plains Alumni met yesterday at the South Ripley Elementary School for our Annual Alumni Banquet. Although our attendance was down a bit due to some that had passed away and for various other reasons, we still had a very nice group. Especially when you only get to see some of these folks just once a year.
The Class of '65 celebrating 60yrs and the Class of '60 celebrating 65yrs since graduation. We even had Class of '55 & '56 represented. Also Classes of '62, '64 & '66
